Andre Brown is the new fantasy football commodity

Last week it was Alfred Morris, this week it’s Andre Brown. In one game Brown emerged from obscurity and into the Broadway lights for the defending Super Bowl champs. He’s sure to be the hottest waiver wire commodity this week. Get him if you can.

The third string running back got a shot Sunday for the New York Giants after starter Ahmad Bradshaw left the game with an injury in the first half. Brown made the most of it by rushing for 71 yards and adding a touchdown. He also notched a two-point conversion that tied it up in the fourth quarter, helping pull the Giants out of a double-digit hole en route to the win.

 Surprisingly it was Brown, not first-round pick David Wilson who took control of the Giants running game Sunday when Bradshaw went down.
